Dr. Dodanwala is a board-certified Rheumatologist. She is also certified in American Board of Internal Medicine.

Born in Sri Lanka, Dr. Dodanwala completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sri Jayewardhanapura in 2007. She completed two internships in Internal Medicine and Surgery in 2008 and 2009 respectively and immigrated to the USA to pursue further training.

Dr. Dodanwala completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine from Sinai Grace Hospital in Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. She joined the fellowship in Rheumatology in Penn State University – M.S Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania, and graduated to practice as a board-certified Rheumatologist.

After her fellowship, Dr. Dodanwala joined Presbyterian Health Systems in Albuquerque, New Mexico as a Rheumatologist, where she expanded her experience in both in-patient and out-patient settings.

Pursuing her dream of delivering quality patient care, Dr. Dodanwala established Prosper Rheumatology PLLC in Frisco, Texas in 2020.

Dr. Dodanwala is affiliated with Texas Health Hospital and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial, in Frisco, Texas. She is also a member of American College of Rheumatology.

She finds Texas her new home and enjoys the warmer climate with lush green vegetation and wild life. Outside her patient care, Dr. Dodanwala also enjoys cooking, going on nature walks and spending time with her family.
